How do I reset to factory settings?

You can turn restore the factory settings by going to the Device Settings screen within the settings menu. Under the Device Settings, choose Factory Defaults.

How do I download courses?

Courses are downloaded through our website. Once the uPro ™ is connected to your computer it is automatically detected and will launch our website.

How do I measure my shot distance?

You can measure your shot distance by simply pressing the Mark button from the Green View in BasicMode™ at the location at which you hit the ball. When you arrive at the ball, simply press the Mark button again and the distance of your shot will be displayed.

How do I charge my uPro™ ?

There are three ways you can charge your uPro™. When you connect your uPro™ to a computer through the USB cable, your uPro™ will automatically start to charge. You can also plug the USB cable into the wall adapter that was included with your purchase and charge it from any wall outlet. You can also charge your uPro™ in your car. To purchase additional wall chargers or a car charger, please visit our accessories page.

Can I use the uPro™ while it's charging?

Yes, the uPro™ can be used while charging.

How do I know if my uPro™ is charging?

You will see a red light shining on the top left face of the uPro™. If your uPro™ is powered on you will also see a charging indication on the battery level.

Why won’t' my uPro™ charge?

If your uPro™ isn’t charging it may not be properly connected. Unplug the device from the USB cable and try reconnecting it again.

Can I use any charger to charge my uPro™?

Although there are many other USB chargers that should work properly with your uPro™, it is recommended that you only use uPro™ chargers from uPlay as they have been verified to work correctly and mate up properly from an electrical specification perspective.

I need to replace the battery, how do I do that?

You simply remove the back battery cover by pressing and sliding off the cover. Remove the battery. Insert a new battery by making sure to orient is such that the terminal end matches the terminals within the uPro™ casing.

How do I clean my uPro™?

Use a soft dry cloth to clean your uPro™. Do not use chemicals or anything abrasive on your uPro™.

How do I know which mode I am in?

If you are in preview mode the GPS signal strength bars will continue to circulate and change colors. When you are in play mode the GPS signal strength bars will remain white. Another way to tell what mode you are in, is if you are on the course and your distances are not updating, you are probably in preview mode. If you are in play mode and you are not at a course, all of the numbers will either display 999 or ---.

How do I switch to play mode?

To switch to play mode, press the menu button, select mode, select play mode. You are now ready to play!

How do I switch to preview mode?

To switch to preview mode, press the menu button, select mode, select preview mode. You can now preview a course. It's the perfect way to study a course before you play.

What is the difference between play mode and preview mode?

Play mode is the mode that you need to be in to use the uPro™ on the course. Play mode will allow the distances to update based on your current location. You should only be in play mode if you are at the course. If you are in preview mode your distances won't update. Preview mode is a static mode that will show you the course information, such as distances from predefined demo points. It will not change views and/or distances. Preview mode is useful when you are away from the course and would like to simulate playing the course.

My distances aren't updating, what's wrong?

If you are at a course and your distances aren't updating, you are probably in preview mode. To switch to play mode press the menu button, select mode, select play mode, then press the exit button to go back to the course you are playing.

Why do my distances seem incorrect?

If your distances seem incorrect, they may not be updating. If your distances aren't updating you are in preview mode. To switch to play mode, press the menu button, select mode, select play mode, then press the exit button to go back to the course you are playing.

Why are all my distances reading 999?

If the distances are reading 999 or --- you are in play mode and are not in close proximity to the golf course you selected. If you are trying to preview the course, you need to switch modes. To switch to preview mode, press the menu button, select mode, select preview mode, then press exit and it will take you back to the course data. Now the distances should appear.

I can't seem to get a signal?

The uPro™ acquires a signal under very adverse conditions including indoors in some environments. If you can't acquire a signal, make certain that you are outside. If the problem persists, try powering off the uPro™ and powering it on again. If this does not resolve the problem please contact customer service.

How do I turn the auto Hole Advanced on or off?

You can turn off the auto hole advance by going to the Preferences screen within the settings menu. Under the Preferences, choose Hole Advance and select Manual.

How do I switch between yards and meters?

You can switch between yards and meters by going to the Preferences screen within the settings menu. Under the Preferences, choose Units and select Meters.

How do I find my serial number?

You can find your device serial number by going to the Device Settings screen within the settings menu. Under the Device Settings, choose Device ID.
